The Twelve Ofs of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
an in that was in an in inn.

On the second day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
too many ofs
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the third day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
five vis-à-vis!
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
six ’twixts betwixting,
five vis-à-vis!
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
seven quas a-quacking,
six ’twixts betwixting,
five vis-à-vis!
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
eight midsts amidsting,
seven quas a-quacking,
six ’twixts betwixting,
five vis-à-vis!
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the ninth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
nine notwithstandings,
eight midsts amidsting,
seven quas a-quacking,
six ’twixts betwixting,
five vis-à-vis!
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
ten ats a-tapping,
nine notwithstandings,
eight midsts amidsting,
seven quas a-quacking,
six ’twixts betwixting,
five vis-à-vis!
four fors for force,
three thanks tos,
too many ofs,
and an in that was in an in inn.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
eleven thoughs althoughing,
ten ats a-tapping,
nine notwithstandings,
eight midsts amidsting,
seven quas a-quacking,
six ’twixts betwixting,
five vis-à-vis!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my poet gave to me
twelve ons on awnings,
eleven thoughs althoughing,
ten ats a-tapping,
nine notwithstandings,
eight midsts amidsting,
seven quas a-quacking,
